The Gaggia Coffee Machine brand is finally on track to get the treatment it deserves in the Australian market with better channel management and the appointment of new key distributors.
We have written previously about what a stellar job we think Philips have done since they acquired Gaggia parent, Saeco in late 2009 with the rationalisation and revitalisation of the Saeco and Gaggia line ups.
Now, Gaggia have bought the brand and channel management of Gaggia back in house, ending the management of the brand in Australia by Shriro Australia Pty Ltd.
This is being further demonstrated with a more professional approach to channel management and we expect that the big box retailers such as the Good Guys and Harvey Norman’s will be given a lot more love by Philips with a focus on the Saeco brand.
New resellers are now being appointed for the Gaggia brand and we are proud to announce that Coffee Shrine is now an Authorised Gaggia reseller. The addition of the Gaggia Coffee Machine line up to Coffee Shrine’s range of Fully Automatic Coffee Machines for the home, further cements its reputation as Australia’s Premier Coffee Machine Specialist.

Fantastic little watch the world go by neighbourhood place - might be handy if your're staying in the nearby Intercontinental or Sheraton Hotels as it is located literally between the two of them.
I had a very decent latte - they use Punto Italia coffee. I love the Vietnamese coffee but sometimes you crave those Italian beans.
Also, get this, they do wonderful...

Just up from Palais Royal and the Louvre, this bright little cafe served me a stunning, thick, creamy macchiato to go. With amazing coffee hard to find in Paris, I'll definitely be making a beeline for this cafe again, and will make the time to take a seat and grab a cake too. Shame I was on the go!!

A Quiet little cafe with hide away seating below street level which is pretty funky!! Their New Espresso Botero Coffee is the best I'm yet to find in Coolangatta!! We had their gourmet sandwiches and a coffee for lunch and it was the best we have had in a very long time will be back for sure.
